Weekend Update - This just in...

Apparently babies have no concept of weekends. That's right you've heard it hear first folks. It is not a good idea to stay up late on a Saturday night after your child has gone to bed. They are just going to wake up at their normal time the next morning. At 5:15 this morning Noah was up and ready to go. A popular expression we've heard when people describe Noah is "bright eyed." Well, he was bright eyed this morning alright. Those peepers were wide open. We try not to engage Noah before the sun comes up but it doesn't work. He is all smiles when he sees us walking into the room. We change him, feed him, burp him, and then hope. Hope that he will realize it is not yet 6 a.m. and that another hour (or two) of sleep would be awesome. We'll keep hoping cause it didn't happen today. He did however, have a great day at church (lots of "seasoned" adults at the 8:30 service to dote on him) and basked in all the attention received while visiting friends. (He's a ham, I think he gets it from Rachel). Well, the street lights are on so I should probably be asleep right now. Gotta get ready for my last week at home with Noah (insert tears here).
